Summer has finally arrived in Vancouver, and with it, a new, quick, and delicious lunch menu at Goldfish. Launched in conjunction with our recent 1 Year Anniversary, the new menu boasts a number of fresh additions.

Wow. A year already. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, but mostly we’ve laughed. Thanks to you.

We’re excited to be able to share our first birthday with you. Mark your calendars for the last week of this month as we’ll be doing something involving cake and candles. If you join our new facebook fan page, you’ll get the latest updates on any celebrations.

One thing we’re doing to celebrate is the launch our new lunch menu that week. AND, we’re offering ANY lunch plate for just $10 or less all week long.

If you’ve been paying attention to our e-mails, you’d know that this might be an ideal day to check out our new lunch offerings including our Ginger-crusted tofu with lime soy ($5), the Miso-sake asparagus roll ($8) and Lemongrass tomato soup with honey-lime chicken satays ($9). For those who have been asking, we’re happy to tell you that pan-roasted corn is back on the menu. The cushions are fluffed and waiting for you.

Getting Ready for Patio Season

Looks like you won’t have to wait much longer for patio season. Thanks to the time change, we’ve reclaimed some coveted patio daylight. And for those of you who have never been on our patio, it’s superb. We’re giving the area a bit of a scrub, fluffing the cushions and polishing the marble. We will issue a SPECIAL PATIO BULLETIN the moment we throw the doors open. We might even make an event out of it.

That’s right Goldfish Pacific Kitchen will give you free wireless at lunch, but there’s a catch…you will need to bring your laptop with you. We kindly ask that you refrain from moving your desktop computer to the restaurant though, however tempting it may be. Be sure to ask our lunch manager, Hayley, for the secret password.
